Okay, here is my turn to tell you about my experience with the 2011 New York Comic Con. For the most part it was awesome. However, it did have some problem with the smaller events such as dysfunctional lines. I was disappointed with the speed dating event. (The only reason it was disappointing was because it reminded me of the Charlie Brown Valentine’s Day Special.

The larger events I went to were both well organized and insanely fun. The Kickoff party with DJ Z-Trip and Tom Morello’s band “The Night Watchmen was a great event. I also enjoyed the Batman Arkham City Panel. It was by far the biggest highlight of the con. The best part of that panel was when Kevin Conroy entered the room and said “I am Batman!

Another interesting panel I went to was the Resident Evil Panel. It was well informative and gave new info about the upcoming resident evil games being released.  In addition to the panels I went to I also met some interesting people to whom I became friends with.

In retrospect to the convention was decent. There was some small issues with the lines and the smaller panels. But hopefully they should be corrected in some way next year. If you have attended the convention, be sure to take the survey so that Reed Pop can improve next year’s convention.
