naota 113 Evincar Share Posted August 30, 2018 Quote Ichibancon is a Japanese animation, pop culture, and video game convention held annually in Concord, North Carolina. Each year, we bring out notable voice actors and industry guests to be a part of our convention, with programming which features them throughout the weekend, as well as autograph sessions which are free to our attendees. In past years we have brought out such guests as Vic Mignogna, Eric Vale, Phil Lamarr, Jennifer Cihi, and Taylor Davis just to name a few. While Ichibancon is a Japanese anime convention, we offer a wide variety of programming options throughout the course of the weekend which include our costume contest, dances, events and discussions featuring anime industry guests, game shows, and a wealth of panels about not only anime, but manga, video games and aspects of Japanese culture as well. We also have a large and spacious Dealer’s Room for all of your anime shopping, an Artist Alley for hand-crafted goods and art, and our own version of a flea market, for people to swap and sell their unused anime merchandise. http://ichibancon.com/ For 2019, Guests include Alejandro Saab, Vic Mignogna, Steve Prince, Ryan Bartley, Bri Knickerbocker, Kazha, and Xanthe Huynh. naota 113 Author Evincar Share Posted January 14, 2019 Huzzah, I have returned from the World known as Ichibancon. Boy was the event fun and jam packed with great people, cosplays, panels, musical guests and more. The full 4 days was a grand time. It was huge. Jam packed with people in a hotel convention center. It was run great and there was a lot to do. There were panels, Musical Guests, Dances, Raves, Voice Actor/ress for autographs, Artist Alley, dealer room and otaku flea market. So much to do, so little time. Had a great time with @Ventus_peace and Spiderghoulcosplays.Looking forward to next year
